Born and raised on the mean frozen streets of Canada, with a brief beautiful detour to Montana, a twenty plus year stint in Seattle and now, California's Central Valley.

Lately the subjects of my work have varied, but portraiture has always been a staple and remains my constant. It has evolved into more abstract ideas and exploring how we as humans interact with life and each other. I love people. As much as anyone, humans make me crazy on an hourly basis, but that doesn't stop me from loving the hell out of them.

 

For much of my life I've felt most at home feeling less-then. We won't go into the whys here, but it has made me an empathy magnet for the collective human condition. As I continue on, each day striving for answers and a feeling of belonging; relationships or chance meetings with humans is what I can count on to keep me going.
