Born and raised on the mean frozen streets of Canada, with a brief beautiful detour to Montana, a twenty plus year stint in Seattle and now California's Central Valley.
Portraiture has been a staple of my work from the beginning. It has evolved into more abstract ideas and how we as humans interact with life and each other. If I were to admit I have a gift, it would be, to love people. As much as anyone, humans make me crazy on an hourly basis, but that doesn't stop me from loving the hell out of them. For much of my life I've felt most at home feeling less-than. We won't go into the whys here, but it has made me an empathy magnet for the collective human condition.
